Mobigater is a cheep, small, nice, great gadget
Compared with other tools, has the benefit to have CLIP.

Searching plenty of forums, and having http://www.celliax.org/node/504 offline, thanks to google stored version I could still read it.
All the below descriptions are done by others (thanks to them), I summarize only to have them in one place.

There is only one problem still. Elastix expert help would be appreciated.
The sound quality is not bad, but disappears, comes back ...

How can I change mobigater's ringing music to actual ring tone that coming from mobile ? Because I have placed mobigater in my home country and using it as a call terminater. When I call to the mobigater through skype, I need to hear actual sound it coming from mobile phone, not the mobigater's default music. How can I do this ? Thanks

CLIP not showing

My Mobigater is pretty decent. I am impressed with whoever made this product and so I commend you.

I only use my Mobigater to send a GSM line to Skype (in another country). Then I use SkypeOut to send the Skype to a local number here. That way I have the same thing as roaming without the ridiculous fees.

However there are some issues:
1. My log does not show the call display numbers:
7/21/2010 3:42:05 PM CALL from number: +CLIP:
7/21/2010 3:42:06 PM CALL in Progress...
7/21/2010 3:42:06 PM Place CALL to:matt.skype
7/21/2010 3:42:43 PM CALL Finished

How do I make it so I can see the call display numbers...

2. I see unatorized usage every ten minutes. The solution on the FAQs definitely does not fix it permanently.

Your help would be appreciated. Thanks for this good product.

Подскажите, кто уже пробовал шлюз.
Ситуация-есть онлайн номер skype.С него сделана переадресация на мобильный. Возникает периодически проблема - звонящий на онлайн номер слышит гудки вызова, а мобильный(на который сделана переадресация) не звонит(скайп при этом отключен). Мобильный начинает звонить после 10-15 гудка, например. Иногда достаточно 1-2 гудков.
В качестве решения проблемы задержки были испробованы: смена телефона,обновление прошивки телефона, смена сотового оператора, переадресация на городской номер.Ничего не помогло.Возможно, проблема в приземляющих каналах скайпа.

Вопрос-если установить MobiGater mini, то при звонке на онлайн номер скайп как быстро он переадресует звонок на сотовый?
Сколько надо ждать звонящему(секунд, гудков) пока зазвонит мобильный телефон, на который сделала переадресация?

Доколкото разбирам вашето устройство се състои от GSM Modem + Sound Card. Предполагам че гласовия вход-изход на модема е закачен за звуковата карта. Набирането и управлението на GSM модема се извършва с AT командите, а преноса на звук през звуковата карта. При това положение устройството е мултифункционално и би могло да се ползва за всякакви цели. Въпросът ми е какъв е модела на модема и съответно звуковата карта, и под какви операционни системи биха могли да се ползват? Също каква е ролята на звуковата карта при положение, че voice модемите позволяват пренос на глас през самия модем? Преди да закупя някое от вашите устройства бих желал ако е възможно да получа по подробна техническа информация.

DTMF problems

Hi,

I have Mobigater Pro for Skype and I have problems with DTMF tones trough my cell phone /AT&T USA/

If I use cellphone not in 3G mode it works just fine, If I switch the phone to 3G and the phone is connected to 3G network /3G icon is displayed/ the Mobigater does not recognize the DTMF sent from the Cell phone.

The tones are audible but relatively short.

Please help me to sort this problem out so I will be able to use the Mobigater device in normal way.

Signal drops has been manually repaired ( select + copy + paste
into no-signal periods)

Please open by Audacity and select
Analyze / Plot Spectrum
from menu

Open 2 above files in 2 instances of Audacity to get a view
of 2 audio spectrums plotted side by side.

It looks like Asterisk + Celliax runs underpowered in processing of
audio files played as MusicOnHold.

More tests to come soon.

Please let me know your opinion.

but not sure, basing on product description, if Windows Vista is supported.

As (from description) MobiGater is made as 3G audio modem + sound card,
tell me if Celliax audio channel for Asterisk is already a part of drivers coming with MobiGater, or should be installed seperately within Asteriskwin32 (Asterisk for Windows).

My only interest is a use of MobiGater as a GSM Gateway for Asteriskwin32.

Hi,

I have the well known mobigater unplugged problem. Normally this means the drivers are not properly installed. HoweverI tried everything and even restored the system of the laptop to its original state (it's a brand new sony vaio running windows 7)

can it be that the problem is hardware related and that the mobigater device itself causes the problem?

the drivers for the composite device and UART install fine. Just the driver for the C-media chip does not install.

Any thoughts?

я использую связку МТС1+МТС2+Mobigater+SIPNet
МТС1 = +7915xxxxxxx - вставлена в телефон
МТС2 = +7915yyyyyyy - вставлена в Mobigater Mini
Пытаюсь позвонить с МТС1 на российский номер +7926zzzzzzz

Для этого в записной книжке МТС1 сделал запись:
+7915yyyyyyyp*007926zzzzzzz#

При таком звонке программа получает номер в виде 007926zzzzzzz, однако звонок через SIPNet не проходит.

Если звонить прямо из программы (direct dialing), то:

007926zzzzzzz - не проходит
8107926zzzzzzz - звонит
8926zzzzzzz - звонит
+7926zzzzzzz - звонит
007926zzzzzzz - не проходит
008107926zzzzzzz - не проходит
00007926zzzzzzz - не проходит
и т.д.

Помогите, как звонить в Россию через этот шлюз? Я так понимаю, что 00 - это команда о том, что сейчас не будет быстрого набора, а стоит ожидать какой-то новый номер. Но зачем она тогда эти нули вставляет в строку вызова?

у меня поврежден диск с драйверами.
Я скачал файл MGdrivers.exe по адресу http://www.mobigater.com/index.php?p=6 но когда я запуская этот файл ничего не происходит.
можно ли скачать .zip архив с драйверами отдельно.

Здравствуйте! приобрел девайс, вставляю карту и... ничего. вопросы следующего порядка:
1. Unplugged постоянно... вообще не видел, чтобы был красного цвета в трее значок;
2. нет сигнала от сети - в программах для скайпа и сип нет делений сотовой связи. в чем может быть дело? симки рабочие - пробовал билайн и мтс...
3. не могу зарегистрироваться на сайте - неверный imei (уже у вас в личке). что делать??

mobile network system messages

Hi,

Is there a possibility to tune Mobigater in the way to hear the mobile network system messages?
For example it is not possible to hear a message like “the subscriber is not available” or “incoming calls barred”. All I am hearing is the music “please hold the line Mobigater is transferring the call” and than suddenly Mobigater drops the connection.

But using direct call from the mobile phone usually allows you to hear the “proper” explanation why the subscriber is not answering (not available, calls barred, etc…)

Phone to Skype Mobigater answers the phone on its own

Is it possible to make Mobigater to answer the phone in the Phone to Skype scenario not when the call has been made but when the call has been answered?
I will explain step by step.
1. Somobody calls the Mobigaters SIM.
2. Mobigater starts to dial Skype and picks up the phone.
3. Caller hears the calling beeps of Skype.
4. Caller pays for waiting on phone.
5. Caller waits a minute, nobody answers, caller is charged standard rate for a 1 minute from local operator.
I ask WHY?
If Mobigater is designed to make things cheaper, why it makes them more expensive?
Why not answer the phone WHEN SKYPE CALL IS ANSWERED????
Is there a way to customize it?

unauthorized usage

I have the "unauthorized usage" pop up box on my screen.
Every 10-15min a new box comes.

I have repowered the mobigater I have changed the USB port I have reinstalled the software but the "unauthorized usage" keeps coming.

How can I fix this problem for good.

mobigater for Skype: echo

After several years of no problems running Mobigater on a 8 years old laptop computer, I have installed Mobigater for Skype on a brand new Sony Vaio notebook.

Everything works, but there is a terrible echo on the line. I hear the echo (hearing myself), the other party does not.

I have set sound settings as recommended in this forum.

Any thoughts?
