SkypeIn to MobigaterPro PBX
When some one calls skypein number, and mobigaterpro pbx picks up that call, what key or combination needs to be pushed by caller to be transfered to one of the pbx numbers. Seems like it is giving only text option when skype call is made, but no way to forward incomming skypein calls.

The call can be tranffered to some of the PBX numbers, when caller press digit (1...5) on his/her phone.
If you want, you can modify (record new) audio message with instuction: \Program Files\EuroDesign\MobiGater\Sounds\RumiPBX.wav Please note that wav file have to be with same sample rate and bitrate like original. |

When caller presses key nothing is happening, music keeps on playing for ever. Was trying from different phones, same result.

If music continues playing, so no DTMF tone (1...5) detected from caller side.

If Skype company recognize DTMF in the incoming audio channel of the SkypeIn's caller, they send it as a command on the data channel to Skype. In PBX mode, MobiGater program react on such commands, if there is no command - nothing happens. MobiGater program did not try to recognize any DTMFs coming on audio channel of the Skype.

Ask Skype company what is the reason/problem that there is no SkypeIn DTMF commands for phone numbers which calls your SkypeIn number.
In some countries and some operators - DTMF commands are received and MobiGater react on them always. In other countries - no DTMF commands are received - so MobiGater can't react. This is a Skype issue, we can't help. |

The situation is this:
"Caller" using "Operator X" calls to your SkypeIn number and call is transfered from "Caller's operator X" to > "Operator Y" which take the service of the "SkypeIn phone number", then it is transfered to > Skype company's server where it is converted to "Skype call" and transfered to > your Skype > here is connected MobiGater which answers the incoming call and if mode is: - "Personal": MobiGater transfers the call via SIM card to > phone number you enter in "Personal mode". - "PBX": MobiGater start waiting for Skype commands "1 ... 5". If "Caller" press some button on the phone, the phone generates "sound tone" (known as DTMF) and play it to "Operator X", after that "Operator X" sent this tone (DTMF) to > "Operator Y" which transfer it to > Skype company's server where Skype tries to recognize "the tone" (DTMF) and if succeed it generate "digit x pressed command" which is sent to > your Skype > and MobiGater will use it (if "1 ... 5" is received) and place call to the corresponding phone number in "PBX mode". BUT some times, in some countries and opeators: "Operator X" did NOT send "the tone" (DTMF) OR "the tone" (DTMF) can NOT be recognized by Skype company's server SO in this cases Skype did NOT send "command". (and MobiGater can not be used in PBX mode). * * * The answer on your question is that "commands are always sent if a "tone" (DTMF) comes from "Operator X" and if it is possible to be recognized by Skype company's server. So if your SkypeIn callers have problems in choosing in PBX mode - contact Skype support and ask for this problem. In such case, during Skype tries to solve the problem, we can only recommend you to use "Personal mode". |
