Are there any plans on a open source project for this device.

Or an open standard so there can be 3rd part software for example an msn support or sms support.

Device is standard Serial port (like GSM modem) and standard Audio Card.
It can be used and configured as you like (for example under Linux via Asterisk with Celliax).

No plans to open Windows source of the software or for API implementation.
