it seems that we are making no progress on this issue and i cannot make the damned device working.
So here is my setup:
-mobi gator mini (the one connected through usb only)
-skype

So i've a voice-based application i can reach through skypeout:
*when i dial the direct number from my mobile, there is no issue and i can interact with dtmf with my application
*when i dial the mobigator from the exact same mobile phone, i can reach the application but DTMF are not going through
i tried 2 different mobile phone operators on both the mobigater and the phone calling in, plus tried a fixed-phone to call in, exact same result: calling the number directly works perfectly, calling it via mobigater in skypeout fails miserably when coming to DTMF.
Also if during the session i'm using the skype pad, then it works perfectly (while my phone is connected, i push the skype pad keys).
So definetly the mobigater does not relay DTMF correctly.
Any idea on how we can move on on this issue ? obviously i did all the check explained in the FAQ and at http://www.mobigater.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=140 with absolutely no success.
IT seems reading this thread that i'm not the alone one. Can someone look really deep in this issue ?

DTMFs are audio tones.
During a call when you press a key it Mobile Phone sent through AUDIO CHANNEL combination frequences as an AUDIO TONE (different for every key, 0...9,*#).
MobiGater's gsm module audio out is derctly connected to audio card (C-Media)'s microphone, which is used in Skype.

So, what comes as audio - goes as audio to Skype.
MobiGater do NOT modify audio channel, part of which are DTMFs.

When you use Skype's dial pad pressing buttons to send DTMF - Skype software sent commands (for example: dial pad's key "4" is pressed) to SkypeOut server connected to PSTN. Same server generate DTMF tone to audio channel of PSTN network.

So, ask Skype why not DTMF tones which comes through audio channel are not reach the end point correctly.

No, modem inside is only 2G.

what about the described DTMF problem - any solutions?
