asterisk fails to load chan_celliax.so
with a following messages in log:

[Dec 4 10:55:29] WARNING[2537] loader.c: Module 'chan_celliax.so' could not be loaded Module 'chan_celliax.so' was not compiled with the same compile-time options as this version of Asterisk.

[Dec 4 10:55:29] WARNING[2537] loader.c: Module 'chan_celliax.so' will not be initialized as it may cause instability.

[Dec 4 10:55:29] WARNING[2537] loader.c: Module 'chan_celliax.so' could not be loaded.

Asterisk version is 1.4.21.2. Module was compiled for version 1.4XX

any suggestions?

Hi,

as I was advised to buy MobiGater for Asterisk for Windows,
please let me know if Celliax comes delivered with MobiGater drivers.

The issue is celliax is highly sensitive to audio card settings and mic must be connected.
Changing audio input/output quality - bitrate, frequency, celliax fails to load for a number of tested settings in sound card app.

In my case, celliax has been reworked and comes with Asterisk for windows installation.

I am not looking for Asterisk, Windows, Celliax support from MobiGater.
I just need to know in advance if your MobiGater can suit my needs.

As MobiGater is marketed as Asterisk compatible product,
I just need to know what comes with MobiGater as drivers
and who did Asterisk, Celliax for Linux compatibility tests
and how to contact him or her .

If Celliax is not loading , as described in the above thread,
I don't know what Celliax.

As I was advised to buy MobiGater (for Windows) by developer of Celliax,
so I am surprised not to find MobiGater for Windows thread on your forums.

Installing and Using Celliax on Windows XP

For managing a cellphone, you will need a Celliax Hardware Adapter, that you can build yourself or buy.
But you can test the Celliax software also without any hardware (just with regular microphone and headset), setting the controldev_protocol to "NO_SERIAL" in the celliax.conf file.

1. If you have not previously installed CygWin, in the CD you will find the setup.exe CygWin installer. Click on it and follow the instructions to install a basic CygWin environment on your computer.

Given MobiGater successfully installed on Vista,
so is Celliax necessary or not at all to get
Skype or Asterisk to work.

That's all what I need to know to buy MobiGater.

All comatibilitytests are made by gsmOpen.
We do not provide any software, configurations or support for Asterisk on any OSes.

I have contacted Mr Giovanni staying behing celliax and gsmopen.

His really did great job.

But today he is busy with development of gsmopen for Linux and promised me to develop gsmopen for Freeswitch for Windows by end of July.

Unfortunately his celliax is lost, no more supported,
and interest in celliax is low.

BTW
I have already spent 20+ years on the Internet, participating in and managing tens of internal R&D projects
and I would like to help you to achbieve global success with your excellent MobiGater + excellent Celliax/ gsmopen Asterisk/ Freeswitch audio channel.

I just need another high-tech R&D man for talks.

You really need one real man, providing support for your MobiGater + Asterisk, comimng from gsmopen or some other place,
but one, who can tell success stories to the public.

One success story can boost sales of your excellent MogiGater immediately.

Just have a look at what kind of support can be provided by gsmopen (Giovanni) today

I am one of few still interested in Asterisk for Windows, Celliax for Windows,
integrated with your excellent MobiGater.

Just building library of wave patterns, to let me test sound quality in Asterisk and discover true cause behind poor sound quality of audio files MOH , played by Asterisk via Celliax via sound card on my laptop.
